Tyler's Mission Farewell cake
His love of the scriptures is a huge part of why he is serving a mission. So for his last cake for two years, sigh...
He created a giant set of scriptures with his favorite scripture story about the brother of Jared.
It is a triple chocolate cake coated with SEVERAL layers of ganache, then covered with it with white chocolate modeling chocolate. It was DIVINE!
This cake gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "Feasting on the Word of God."

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up the blog so much lately. Between school and getting ready for a mission, I've been pretty busy. I will be going for two years in Sept., so this boy won't be baking too much till I get home. We've updated the gallery with most of our recent cakes. Mom promises to keep a few fun cakes out there so you don't miss me too much.
